我们的主题是关于在上海的国际儿童，我们收集了不同种族背景的几个孩子的镜头,来展示上海的是一座多元文化交融的国际化都市。我们聚焦于一个中国与西班牙混血的小女孩，Monica，一个已经会说包括中文、英文、西班牙语和上海话多种语言的聪明可爱的5岁女孩。我们通过镜头展示了这个女孩和她的家庭和她的生活。我们用了不同的摄像机进行拍摄，计划做一个8到10分钟的短片。
The topic we chose for our short film is international children in Shanghai. We gathered footage of several children with different ethnic backgrounds to show the wide range of cultures prevalent in the city. The focus of our film is on one girl in particular whose parents granted us permission to spend a few days with in order to make our video. The girl, Monica, is of Spanish and Chinese descent. Her mother is Shanghainese and her father is Spanish. Amazingly, Monica can already speak some level of Mandarin, Shanghainese, Spanish, and English at the age of five years. We took some footage of Monica with her family at her grandmother's house, as well as at a pool and restaurant eating dinner. We used two different cameras to shoot and are planning on making the video eight-to-ten minutes long.
