虎丘是苏州这座拥有1000万居民的大都市的平静岛屿。在这座园林里万物在自然中平静得生长了数百年。通过影片，我们可以深入了解两位虎丘原定的日常工作，他们带着敬畏和谦逊态度照顾着园林里的植物并有着丰富的经验。他们全心全意得在平静中照料他们的“孩子”。他们有一些相似之处，但是也有着兴趣上的差异。其中以为主角微小的盆景一起工作，缓慢而耐心；另一个主角则为大树修建，充满活力。片刻之间，我们可以听到虎丘园林的幽静，也可沉浸到绿叶下的美景中。

Tiger Hill is the island of calmness in the big metropolis of Suzhou with 10 million inhabitants. It is a garden where everything lives and and has grown in the peace of nature for hundreds of years. We can have an insight into the everyday working lives of two gardeners, who take care of the plants in the garden with respectful humbleness and tremendous experience. They nurture their “children” in a most peaceful surrounding with total commitment. Apart from many similarities there is an interesting contrast between the two main characters. While one of them works with tiny bonsais with slow and patient movements, our other protagonist cuts off huge braches of trees with energetic swings. After a while we can also hear the silence of Tiger Hill’s  Garden and can get immersed into its beauty under the green foliage.
