《胚盘》这部纪录片讲述的是人与动物之间的关系，更准确的说，是人类与鸡的关系。影片中，通过韩伟集团总经理韩建初先生的讲述，来探索如何以一种生态的循环来为人们提供鸡蛋。电影的开始，将鸡以恐龙的形式展现，因为鸡和恐龙一样，都是在人类出现之前就生活在地球上.当人类出现后，人们开始驯化鸡群，并通过最新的科技手段给予鸡群更好的生活环境，以便为人类提供更加健康的食物。并且加快生产进程，才能给地球上70亿的人口提供充足的食物。

The documentary Embryo is a film about the relation between us as human beings and animals, in the current case, chickens. Most of the story explores the ecological process of chicken egg making cycle which is explained by the president of the Hanovo Farm, Mr. Han Jian Chu. The film starts treating chickens like dinosaurs since they are also old inhabitants of planet Earth and then continues to show that humans tamed these creatures for our good, which creates opportunity to treat them better through latest technological innovation in order to have healthier food, and faster production process in order to supply food for a lot of people, currently settling at 7 billion humans inhabitants in earth.
