In the Snow Leopard Pavilion at Xining Wildlife Park, 2-year-old Aoxue (Proud Snow) lives with 18-year-old Dabao (Big Leopard). Snow Leopards are endangered in the wild and accurate data on Snow Leopards is scarce. Artificial breeding, or breeding in captivity is one way of saving the snow leopard population. Aoxue is the oldest surviving artificially bred snow leopard in China. This documentary follows Wang Lu, the keeper of the Snow Leopard Pavilion, and her relationship with the Snow Leopards she looks after. We see how understanding and caring for animals is the first step towards saving them.
