The subject of this film is the Beijing Enamel Factory, where for over 60 years, they have been producing some of the world’s finest examples of Chinese Cloisonné. Even the smallest of pots takes over four weeks to complete and requires the completion of seven individual processes, each one carried out by hand by a different person and so this film is a testament to those people who have dedicated their lives to this craft.
