来自坦桑尼亚的留学生马思娜在大墅镇的山顶上第一次见到了金丝皇菊，这也是她第一次见到可以泡茶饮用的花朵。在她的国家，有一种形似的太阳花，人们经常用作装饰和工艺品，却从没有食用过花朵。

本片将以马思娜的视角来观察中国人数百年来观赏菊花、饮用菊花的文化传统，并将由她提出一个“中国人为什么喜爱观赏、引用菊花。菊花茶又有什么功效使得它深深的融入中国人的饮食文化甚至性格之中。”这一问题。

随着她对于这片花园的不断了解，包括采花的工人、和农场的老板的创业经历后，得到了答案，并借由菊花更加深入的了解了中国。

Masina, an international student from Tanzania, saw the golden chrysanthemum for the first time on the top of the mountain in Dashu town. It was also her first time to see flowers that could be used for tea making and drinking. In her country, there is a similar sunflower, which is often used as decoration and handicraft, but has never been eaten.           

From the perspective of MaSina, this film will observe the cultural tradition of watching and drinking chrysanthemums for hundreds of years in China, and will put forward a question that "why Chinese people like to watch and use chrysanthemums. What is the effect of chrysanthemum tea, which makes it deeply integrated into the Chinese food culture and even personality.

Finally，With her constant understanding of the garden, including the entrepreneurial experience of flower pickers and farm owners, she got the answer and learned more about China through chrysanthemum.
