Cultural heritage stands hand in hand with national identity, and as we move into an era of globalization many smaller unique minority cultures fail to catch up the changing world. This documentary is both a short story and message about the future of the Miao and Tujia people, and most importantly who’s responsible for the cultural traditions and values of the past.
