This documentary takes you into the world of Yongchun paper texture painting, an artistic Chinese heritage. We delve into the thousand-year-old tradition of transforming plain sheets of paper into exquisite works of art. At the center of it all is Xing Hong, a 21 young artist who struggles to communicate but is interested in carrying on the paper texture painting tradition in his family, the Fang family. Through his unique perspective, we witness the profound value of the art for self-expression without needing words.
