Malaysian student Soh Chia Jin shared his experience of visiting his ancestral hometown, Chaoshan, with his grandmother over the phone. During his visit, he met Master Chen and Granny Chen, who make bamboo-woven oil-paper lanterns, and felt the warmth and happiness of family. However, time cannot be turned back, and the phone calls that follow convey an indescribable love and longing.
