This film follows a sheltered “man in the cave” who travels to Nanning, China, and meets Liu Yang, an extreme sports lover. He witnesses Liu Yang’s thrilling adventures in motocross, jet surfing, and paragliding, feeling his passion and freedom. Supported by Liu Yang and friendly locals, he faces his fears of heights and swimming, breaks through his comfort zone, steps out of seclusion, and understands the power of life and the freedom of Nanning.
