Amber in the Mountains is an animated story of how walnut candy was invented in Caishen town, Hezhang county, China. A young girl decides to escape her village and chase the lights in the big city. However, she accidentally ends up stranded near a river that is inhabited by a magical giant salamander. Her life changes entirely when she realizes that sometimes, the most beautiful things in life are hiding right in front of us. We just have to look closer.
