北京宫灯是有1400多年历史的中国传统文化。但是很多中国人并不知道北京宫灯，他们更不知道宫灯这种文化正在消失中。但是有些人正在努力保护和传承宫灯。他们就是宫灯制作者。现在已经很少宫灯制作者了。所以在这个纪录片中，我们呈现了宫灯制作者的生活和感受，我们关注宫灯文化的传承。

Palace lanterns have been traditional Chinese culture for more than 1,400 years. But a lot of Chinese people know nothing about palace lanterns and they don’t know the fact that palace lanterns are dying out. But there are some people who are trying to protect and save palace lanterns. They are the lantern makers. Nowadays, there are few lantern makers, so in this documentary film, we will show the life and the feelings of the lantern maker. We focus on the conservation of this culture.
