阿肯对唱是哈萨克族的一种民间文化，是指歌手通过弹奏冬不拉进行即兴演唱的一种形式。加合甫努尔当地有名望的阿肯，在他的带领下我们在他的家乡-中国新疆伊犁哈萨克自治州新源县的坎苏乡体验了一场美妙的音乐旅途。本片中所有的阿肯弹唱都来自加合甫努尔，所有的冬不拉独奏都是由其子阿拉西弹奏。
Akyns are poets in the kazak culture, that improvise in form of a song-like recitative with the accompaniment of a dombra. Jiahenur, a prestigious akyn in his region, is our guide in a musical journey through the life of the kazaks in the chinese city of Kanzu, his hometown. All voice over in the documentary has been improvised by Jiahenur and the dombra solos are played
by Alaxi, his son.
