Human kind learned how to survive and grew his new generations during thousands years, it’s a challenge that renew every time. The tools to face this are (I think) intelligence, cooperation, brotherhood, common way of thinking (communities), instinct and over all, culture.

Like an old Banyan tree, culture lives and grows and develop herself thanks to her roots, the greater and stronger they are the longest can survive and face the foreign adversity. So according to me, Hua Deng represent some of that strong and healthy roots that keeps alive the identity of a population and for this reason it is practiced in squares daily, shared in villages, told to foreigners and taught at school.
