Two men who are maintaining the chinese high speed rail. One young, lives in the factory's building and dreams about a family and living next to his parents, another who works at night and travels several hours back and forth to his family.

Their work helps connecting other people together while they seem to be disconnected from their families.

Through following them during work and at home we get a a glimpse of the ordinary life of Chinese people
