The documentary “Good Luck” is a story about fishermen who live in the Dachangshan Island which is a part of Dalian. This place has a lot of families which live there and fish in the traditional way. The natural scenery and local customs of Dachangshan Island unfolds by showing the original ecological attractions and the fisherman’s lifestyle. Director Nikola Polic, in the short documentary “Good Luck”, follows many families for one week and investigates their day to day life, their hard work and what they do when the work is done. This documentary encompasses the authentic atmosphere of this exotic island.
