这部电影讲述的是钟叔和他致力于捕鱼的生活之间的关联，钟叔今年63岁，生活在地处珠海的淇澳岛上，与他相伴生活的有他的妻儿。他使用一种名为拗鱼的传统秘法捕鱼。我们追寻他每天的生活足迹，一起去往淇澳的大澳渔区拍摄这种捕鱼方式的全过程。

The film is about the relationship of uncle John and his life dedicated to fishing, he a 63 year old living in a small village called Qi‘ao in zhuhai with the son and his wife.  He used ancient method of fishing called Aoyu. We follow him on his everyday routine of getting to an island to fish and shoot procedures and the traditional method.
