When we were very young, we learned the ancient poem which is Sympathy for the peasants. We all know that thanks to their toiling day. This film is based on rice, looking for two craftsmen who use rice as raw material to make delicious food. The film explores stories related to rice from various perspectives. Such as farmers cultivate rice, and researchers test rice genes. The film explores the past, present and future about rice, seeks out the connection between rice and people from different identities, and ponders the significance of rice to Chinese people.
