我们纪录片作品的主题是讲述一位驻村第一书记，叶旭明，通过修路、建桥等基础设施建设，带领沈阳市沈北新区清水台街道后屯村村民脱贫致富的故事。后屯村由于受历史、区位、资源、气候等因素的制约和影响，县域经济发展水平相对较低，是全省扶贫开发工作重点县之一。秉承着“要想富，先修路”的治理方针，后屯村于2017年开始修路架桥、整治环境，各户村民因此而受益。作品从村民养鸡专业户一家入手，通过展现一家人的日常生活，讲述在第一书记的带领下，村子里发生的变化。

The theme is about a village secretary, Ye Xuming, who led the villagers out of poverty by building roads, bridges and other infrastructure. 
Because of the restriction and influence of history, location, resources, climate and other factors, Houtun Village has a relatively low level of economic development, and is one of the most important counties in the province. The film begins with a professional chicken farmer in the village. It shows the daily life of the family, and tells the change of the village under the leadership of the first secretary.
