"Listen! Our Dreams" tells the story of Weng Sui, a Cambodian girl studying in China, who meets Song Yongjiu, an independent and family-oriented Miao woman in a Miao village. Song Yongjiu's life and experiences evoke memories and longing for Weng Sui's own mother, while also strengthening her belief in pursuing her own dreams.
