《寻道黄河窑》这部短纪录片是以巴基斯坦留学生剑诗的视角为主的，他踏上寻找电影中窑洞的旅途，去到了《拨浪鼓咚咚响》的拍摄地——清涧县，在旅途中，他不仅仅找到了电影中主角所住的窑洞，而且认识了村子里世代居住在窑洞中的爷爷。

The short documentary Living on The Loess Plateau is mainly based on the perspective of a Pakistani international student's Jamshed. He embarked on a journey to find the cave in the movie and went to Qingjian County, where The Rattle Drum was filmed. During the journey, he not only found the cave where the protagonist lived in the movie, but also met his grandfather who had lived in the cave for generations in the village.
