Dancing in the Square records a unique and bright cultural landscape in China - square dance. Most of the dance teams are made up of middle-aged and elderly people, with very different styles, beautiful dances, neat teams, and harmony. By focusing on four square dance teams, the film explores the personal experiences and life stories of each team.
