隶属泉州市的永春县达埔镇，以饱满的活力挥扬着古法制香的大旗，通过海上丝绸之路将香似霞似云的姿态浸润进了异国。影片聚焦“海丝香之路”，试图从阿拉伯后裔传承人、普通工作者的视角探寻中国制香人的品格，挖掘蕴藏了几代人的奉献、传承与创新，通过拍摄真实的制香劳作场景、工艺流程等镜头营造时空对话的效果，从而为海上丝绸之路提供更多发现的视角与文化的底蕴，同时将永春制香的魅力传播向世界。
