'Everywhere a Bird sings,' is a slow, poetic documentary that explores how you hear and see the world as a birdwatcher in the urban context of Beijing. Through the main protagonist Jeff, and the birders he meets along the way, we explore his passionate observations of Eurasian Coots, his quirky connection to the birds he observes, and the way in which his world has changed now that he can hear the birds around him. Set in the Olympic Forest Park, It invites the audience to become a birdwatcher themselves, hoping that they may pay a little more attention to the tweats around them after watching this short film.
