Duojixiangmao and her family live a modern life in Deji Village, while they can still feel the

call of the mountains where they had their previous home. The Yellow River, as it flows, it

also separates the previous life from the present life. Duojixiangmao writes a letter for the

future generations, so that the poetry of the life from the far away mountains will never be

forgotten by time. Instead of sending the letter in as a message in a bottle, floating on the

river, Duojixiangmao performs a Tibetan traditional dance with her mother, on the shore of

the Yellow River, her favourite place from Deji Village. The new life is embraced, but she

will always cherish her roots coming from the far away mountains, where nature and

wilderness is at its home.
