What begins as a documentary about the Qinghai-Tibet Railway slowly transforms into something else. Observing stations, platforms and train carriages over several days, a filmmaker becomes increasingly drawn to the anonymous people around him. Through personal diary entries, the film explores how strangers can leave lasting memories without ever exchanging a single word.
