An observation of a man wholly devoted to his craft, told in five chapters. Through a patient and contemplative gaze, the film gradually unfolds the figure of a craftsman whose labor becomes more than repetition: it becomes a trace of time inscribed upon the body, and a process through which maker and object are shaped by one another. Inviting the audience on a meditative journey through the ceramics of the Yingjing Ceramic Plant and Museum, the film reflects on the warmth, history, and aesthetic spirit carried within these works, while revealing the quiet dedication, concentration, and perseverance at the heart of true craftsmanship.
